A few thoughts about supernatural and my brother

My favourite TV show is called “Supernatural” of the CW. It has two brothers as protagonist characters who fight monsters, demons, fallen angels and others kinds of creatures. It started at 2005 like a “kill a monster of the week show”, but gradually the writers began to present more about the fraternal relationships between the brothers and what would they do for each other and making twist in the plot, like  in the chapter 21 at season 2:  Dean(big sibling) decided to sell his soul in a deal with a demon to bring Sam(little brother) from death with one year to live before going to hell or in season six  they tried to stop the apocalypse and fight Lucifer.
I like the show for different reasons, but the main reasons was because the really close relationship of the main characters, the show include  their domestic problems, betrayals and happy times too , the topics hit me hard because when I started watching it  because I was having problems with mine own brother and It made me wish to have a real relationship with him like they had, maybe we wouldn’t sell  our souls for each other, even  I think he don’t believe in souls and I would be really angry if he did a foolishness like that, but I was hoping to one day being able to really talk with/help him and show that I care for him.
I think we are still not so close, but It feels better, even I miss him because He’s at England now, we both know that we care for the other one.

A country to travel

I would like to travel to the United Kingdom (U.K.) for four reasons: first, because my brother is there, He is studying at Cambridge University since one year and a half, so I miss him very much, even We are not so close like others siblings could be. Second, because I think it’s a country with so much history and different kind of culture backgrounds and traditions, It have four nations after all: England, Wales, Scotland and North Ireland. Third because I love to see the different kind of architecture styles, for example: gothic cathedrals, Victorian houses and, of course, visit the medieval castles that are all over the country. The fourth reason, it’s because I love the wet weather, which made   possible to have really green landscapes and forests.
I know very little of U.K. in the actual age, my knowledge come from history classes: a little about the Celtas, that It was part of the Roman Empire, King Henry VIII, their wars with France and the Magna Letter; from literature, movies and TV shows  too, specially about the Arthurian Legends.

I like to go sightseeing every place I could go to- like the tower, the eye of london, stonehenge and other archeological sites- , visit all the museums
(specially the Sherlock Homes museum), go to the country side and have a picnic in a really green hill with my brother and whatever We could think of.
I would really like to study there; maybe if I a get good enough grades get in Cambridge to do a master and share an apartment with my brother, mostly because I always wanted to travel to other countries, It has very important universities and colleges and finally, because I would want to  work in my relationship with my sibling, reconnect in some way, because we care for each other, but sometimes I feel like we don’t really know the other and sometimes It’s difficult to be of help  when one of us is in a tight spot .

Tribal Fusion Dance

I’m learning an special bellydance style, It’s called Tribal Fusion, Tribal for short, but there is another style that use the same word, but It’s called ATS: American Tribal Style which use  body movements  like codes to create choreographies in the moment of the presentation to the public. Tribal Fusion is a derivation of ATS, but the choreographies aren’t improvisations and you can mix with other dance styles or different movements of them with the traditional bellydance, like flamenco, hip-hop, Indian or Turkish dances and so on.
The difference between traditional and Tribal, beside the clothes –the first use very colorful tight skirts and bras with a lot of sequins, and shiny accessories, meanwhile the second use a lot of darker colors and kind of old accessories in bronze, sometimes chains, turbans, globes, big skirts and pants too  – it’s the attitude and the muscular work, in the bellydance you are always happy and flirty with the public, the movements are more laidback  and you use a lot the hair in the dance, but at tribal you dance with a stronger posture, very straight, and the
arms, when we do that kind of wavy movement,  It’s in the space between the line of our chest and head, where we can see them in our vision line without tilting the head down , traditional move the arms between the  hip and head, and well, the interpretation varies within the style you mix and the personal intention of the dancer, usually the tribal has less flirty and more proud  expression.
I like both styles, but now I prefer tribal because it means to learns to control your body in a different way, tribal use a lot of combinations like when you are moving your hips up and down you make circles with your chest- I can’t do it yet-, these you don’t usually do in traditional, and if you do it, It’s usually with the same part of the body, the hip mostly.  Tribal it’s more demanding, but I like it anyways.

A new and strange term

Well, this term is awfully short, ten weeks to do a lot of things: study, dance and tai chi practice, Il Quattrocento and a taphonomy study group reunions, without counting the hours of lectures at university, so a lot of work in a short time, you can guess it's means that little sleep is a given, and so is stress.  But I can't really complain, nobody force me to take tai chi like sport requirement this year, or to get in the study group, the magazine(Il Quattrocento) or dance like extracurricular activities.
I though it wouldn’t be too awful, and it’ not really that bad, but the lectures are boring, I don’t really like most of the subjects they cover, only one or two have some use, but another upper classmate told me that when I decide for the speciality of the carer that I want- She took it – it won’t be of any help.
I took ethnology of Chile, ok, I have to accept it’s interesting but I could use the time for other things, like sleep, very important thing.  Introduction to Ethnography, a course where we have to study a group of persons, they are dancers of a little company, but this I really don’t like, I hate to need to get to know a person for a grade. Psychology, it’s fine, also structuralism and prehistory II, interesting - if not useful- but I have to take them to graduate, like workshop of investigation (it’s so oriented to social anthropology, and I wanna get into the biological side of the carer ).

The summer thing is a problem, I don’t function well with high temperature, but I have to try, there is nothing left to do.

And about Christmas, well I suppose that I can’t really do anything about it either, only try to get the best of it. My parents are going to visit me that date, so I will not be alone, I have to appreciate that at least.
